The 2021 Mazzini Chardonnay was crafted from hand harvested fruit grown on the Yan Yan Gurt vineyard, Birregurra in the Geelong wine region. This wine from the Otway ranges was whole bunch pressed to French oak, then fermented using wild yeast and matured for 9 months prior to bottling.
Don’t take our word for it…
2021 Mazzini Chardonnay | 91 points – Gary Walsh from The Wine Front
“Crème caramel, peach, sweet spice. A glossy feel, but with juicy acidity, some flinty texture, maybe some aniseed in with a little sizzled butter, a little saline and cheesy, and a bright finish with some lemon zest bobbing up. Good wine, kind of weighty with winemaking influence, yet keeps itself pretty trim.”
