The 2019 Mazzini Pinot Noir was crafted from hand harvested fruit grown in the Geelong wine region. This wine was fermented using wild yeast with the addition of 10% whole bunches, and then matured in new and used French oak prior to bottling.

“Curious wine, but interesting, which is good. It’s kind of vegetal in a way, with ripe tomato and beetroot, a bit of perfume, poached strawberry and spice. Fine grip from emery tannin, sappy and sour-edged, and a little shy on the finish. Quirky, and pleasant to drink, but doesn’t say much about Pinot Noir.”
